About Marvell

Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact

The Quality & Reliability Engineering (QRE) team ensures product integrity from NPI through production by leading qualification, reliability validation, and data-driven life prediction. The group partners cross-functionally with Product, Design, Test Engineering, and Operations to mitigate risk, drive robust product design, and enable successful product ramp — while maintaining compliance with JEDEC standards and customer quality requirements.

What You Can Expect

In this role, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute reliability stress testing, readpoint testing, and qualification logistics across local and international programs — with a focus on Marvell's leading-edge Connectivity and Switch products.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with customers to review custom qualification requirements and develop comprehensive qualification plans for Connectivity and Switch products.

  • Partner with Business Unit and Operations teams for NPI requirements planning and technical risk assessments.

  • Work with external vendors to develop next-generation stress capabilities and build strategic capacity for future qualification programs.

  • Manage multiple concurrent product reliability qualifications from planning through execution, debug, and closure.

  • Coordinate internal and external engineering resources and materials to support qualification program execution.

  • Analyze stress and readpoint data to evaluate reliability performance across Logic, Memory, and Analog Core IPs.

  • Review and analyze ESD/HBM/CDM/Latch-Up test results and provide actionable feedback to design teams for future improvement.

  • Author and deliver final qualification reports summarizing project findings, results, and reliability assessments for customers.

  • Develop and monitor reliability monitoring programs to establish MTBF, FIT rates, and other key reliability metrics.

  • Drive 8D troubleshooting and root cause analysis of qualification failures to improve product reliability and prevent recurrence.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience; or Master's/PhD with 2+ years of experience.

  • Familiarity with semiconductor stress testing methodologies in accordance with JEDEC standards (e.g., HTOL, HAST, HTS, TC, ESD, Latch-Up); familiarity with ESD/HBM/CDM/Latch-Up analysis and design feedback a plus.

  • Experience working with vendors on stress pattern bring-up, test execution, and test hardware design and build.

  • Familiarity with 8D methodology or structured root cause analysis for qualification failure investigation.

  • Ability to synthesize qualification data and author clear, customer-facing qualification reports.

  • Ability to independently drive and manage complex, multi-site qualification programs from initiation through closure, including scheduling, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Hands-on experience in product qualification and reliability testing; experience with advanced CMOS nodes and high-power products a plus.

  • Experience developing and monitoring reliability metrics including MTBF and FIT rate calculations is a plus

  • Prior experience in program management is a plus

  • Prior exposure to Smartsheet, PowerBI or similar is an asset
