As a Senior QA Engineer at Taikun, you will be responsible for and own the entire Taikun platform quality, including deployed Kubernetes clusters, Taikun’s APIs, and the user interface.
You will focus on expanding and maintaining automated testing frameworks, while also conducting exploratory testing when needed. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high reliability, seamless integrations, and a great user experience across the platform.
As a Senior QA Engineer you will:
Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for the Taikun platform (UI, APIs, and deployed cloud infrastructure).
Use Python and Playwright and other test automation tools to expand end-to-end test coverage.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform manual and exploratory testing for features not yet covered by automation.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and report issues, providing detailed feedback to engineering teams.
Identify gaps in test coverage and propose solutions to improve quality.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Mentor junior QA engineers on quality best practices.
Document test cases, automation strategies, and testing results.
Education: Bachelor degree or higher (or equivalent) in a relevant field is a plus. We are looking for experienced people even if they do not have a university degree.
We’re excited about you if you have:
6+ years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with Python or Playwright for end-to-end testing.
Experience with test automation in CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in Linux command-line usage and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good collaboration and communication skills.
Bsc/Msc in related field or equivalent experience
You may also have:
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Swagger or similar).
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (K6, Locust or similar).
Familiarity with Kubernetes or containers.
Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code platforms (Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with hyperscalers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Contributions to open-source projects.
