Based in Cluj Napoca, part of the Test and Measurement group of Emerson, NI, as our Staff Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of electronics and software projects.
You will collaborate with various departments and external partners to successfully deliver projects and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Project Planning & Execution
Develop comprehensive project plans that ensure successful and measurable execution. Assess technical feasibility, financial viability, and risks. Define customer requirements, create work breakdown structures, and manage budgets. Proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies while maintaining clear communication on schedules and milestones. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with manufacturing, R&D, operations, quality, and sales teams. Lead through influence to ensure project success and build strong relationships for future collaboration. - Project Analysis & Risk Management
Supervise and report on project costs, quality, and status. Evaluate and manage changes that significantly impact scope, budget, or schedule. Drive timely decision-making. - Resource Management
Collaborate with resource managers to ensure appropriate staffing. Influence decisions related to scope, schedule, and resource allocation.

Serve as the single point of contact for all project-related matters. Facilitate project reviews and effectively manage scope and schedule changes.

- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics or software engineering projects
- Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or CAPM certification
- Experience in the test and measurement industry
- Familiarity with National Instruments hardware and software
