The Business Operations’ team’s mission is to shape the strategic direction of major company or organizational priorities, and accelerate the outcomes of Omnicell’s Platform & Cloud Engineering by driving programs and uniting multi-organizational functional teams.  We are looking for a best-in-class Staff Program Manager who will manage complex programs through the development and/or operational processes at Omnicell. This position requires a solid understanding of program requirements as well as the technologies used in the program. Scope of responsibilities range from building scalable program frameworks to focused projects to multi-dimensional programs involving multiple disciplines and cross-functions. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure commitment from teams across the company for new initiatives, drive consensus on the technical approach, set timelines, and lead cross-functional development teams from design through delivery

  • Coordinate between various groups at Omnicell, including product, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, operations, compliance, regulatory, legal, supply chain, quality, procurement, finance etc.

  • Anticipate needs and proactively identify aspects of the project that may be going off track, develop a recovery plan, and communicate the plan to all stakeholders

  • Ensure outstanding communication across teams; manage actionable information up to the executive level in Engineering

  • Develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives

  • Review deliverables against requirements defined by product management

 

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong technical Project Manager skills in Platform and Cloud

  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including executive level.

  • Demonstrated success at public speaking and detailed report writing.

  • Team Player and Self Starter; Drives teams and self to meet commitments in order to achieve success.; Accountable for results. 

  • Adept at creating effective presentations, visuals and outputs.  

  • Possesses strong business acumen

  • Experience in budget tracking

  • Track record in creating technical specifications by analyzing requirements and digesting product management needs

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and can digest complex problem. Experience in articulating possible paths forward with pro(s) and con(s)

  • Deep background with Agile Iterative development process

  • Very familiar with Operational process (Procurement, Proof of Concept to a ready to scale offering)

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, technical discipline, finance, healthcare

  • 10+ years of Technical Program Management experience

  • 10+ years in Project / Program / Development / Product Management

  • Strong background in Agile development process

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA preferred

  • Project Management certification or certificate (PMP, PgMP, CPM, DAU, etc.)

 

Work Conditions

  • Office Environment

  • Up to 20% travel
