  • Own the product strategy and execution for manufacturing engineering and test systems supporting the upcoming Bright Machines model factory.
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap for manufacturing engineering systems and test platforms used in AI server and rack testing.
  • Lead the end-to-end requirements process: gather and prioritize requirements, author detailed specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to improve current-generation products and define next-generation solutions.
  • Drive product launches in coordination with operations teams and external customers, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
  • Collaborate with program and delivery teams to understand market trends and evolving customer needs to inform future product development.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet technical and operational specifications.
  • Evaluate new applications, use cases, and proof-of-concept initiatives, prioritizing the product roadmap based on data and strategic impact.
  • Provide ongoing support, product expertise, and guidance to field operations teams.
  • Travel occasionally to factory and customer manufacturing sites as needed.

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in electro-mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems, robotics, and/or mechatronics product development, ideally within a manufacturing environment and comfortable working on the factory floor
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in industrial software product management
  • Experience managing both hardware and software product lifecycles, with a focus on computer server design and NTI/NPI (New Technology Introduction/New Product Introduction) processes
  • Strong ability to understand and work with complex hardware systems and industrial robotics
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment; collaborating effectively across R&D, systems engineering, and field support teams
  • Demonstrates a systems-level mindset with a strong customer-centric approach

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD

  • Strong experience in developing electro-mechanical systems and products, with expertise spanning both hardware and software disciplines
  • Deep experience in the enterprise and datacenter server industries, including product lifecycle and system-level integration
  • Proven background in manufacturing automation solutions, with hands-on experience interfacing with factory operations and understanding factory workflows and dynamics (highly preferred)
  • Working-level understanding of robotics and its application in manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with key factory KPIs and practical experience in driving measurable improvements in production performance
