NetBox Labs makes it easier to build, run, and govern complex networks and infrastructure, for both humans and AI agents
The Role
Own the strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and success metrics for network observability products across cloud and enterprise deployments. Serve as the subject matter expert on network telemetry and observability, prototype solutions, engage customers, support technical pre-sales, and enable go-to-market teams. Partner with engineering, customer success, discovery, and assurance teams to deliver products that help operators detect and resolve network issues.
Summary Generated by Built In

At NetBox Labs, our mission is to make it easier to build and manage complex networks. As a product company, we do that by developing innovative software for network professionals delivered on-premises and in the cloud.

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to own our Network Observability features and products, reporting to the Director of Product. You will take products from definition through GA and beyond, partnering closely with Engineering, Customer Success, and GTM to build a product operators rely on to understand how their network is behaving.

You like going deep on the protocols, the data, and the edge cases that only show up in production. You can prototype, hold your own with engineering, and act as the subject matter expert. You also know how to turn that depth into clear value for customers and the business.

What You'll Do
  • Own NetBox Labs Observability features and products, turning product strategy into a scoped, sequenced roadmap and driving it from definition through GA and iteration across Cloud and Enterprise deployments.

  • Be a subject matter expert in network observability and how telemetry is collected, modelled, and used by operators to detect, troubleshoot, and resolve real problems in production networks.

  • Translate deep technical capability into business value for customers, sales, customer success, and leadership, and equip GTM teams with the positioning, demos, and technical enablement to sell it.

  • Prototype to answer product questions fast and validate ideas with engineering and customers.

  • Engage directly with customers and prospects in discovery, technical pre-sales conversations, and design partner programs.

  • Partner across our Discovery and Assurance teams to ensure Observability, Discovery, and Assurance fit together as coherent platform offerings.

  • Define and own Observability success metrics and use them to drive roadmap decisions.

What We're Looking For
  • 7-10+ years of product management leadership in B2B software, including 3+ years on technically complex products such as networking & infrastructure, observability, security, or developer platforms.

  • Product experience in network observability, monitoring, or telemetry.

  • Fluent across observability technologies. SNMP, streaming telemetry (gNMI), flow data (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX), OpenTelemetry and clear on the strengths and limits of each.

  • A builder. Comfortable in a codebase, able to script against APIs, stand up a prototype, read a pull request, and hold your own in a room full of engineers.

  • Able to translate deep technical detail into business value, in writing and in the room, for audiences from engineers to executives

  • Strong track record of owning products across the full lifecycle, and the autonomy to run a product line without being managed into it

  • Strong cross-functional influence, with the ability to drive alignment across engineering, CS, and GTM.

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists

Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with open source products and communities.

  • Familiarity with network automation or source-of-truth tooling.

  • Experience shipping products delivered both on-prem and as SaaS.

  • Exposure to device discovery or inventory ingestion pipelines.
