The Staff Product Manager, Applied AI is a senior individual contributor responsible for defining and delivering high‑impact AI‑enabled products and capabilities across Cytiva’s data ecosystem. The role focuses on turning complex business and customer problems into production‑grade, trusted AI solutions that scale across teams and use cases.

This position reports to the Director, Product Management – Data Products and is part of the Digital, Data & AI team located in Krakow, Poland and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for applied AI capabilities within the Data Products portfolio, aligned to business and customer outcomes.

  • Identify, frame, and prioritize high‑value AI use cases, translating them into clear product requirements, success metrics, and delivery plans.

  • Lead end‑to‑end product discovery and delivery, using experimentation, analytics, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

  • Partner with engineering and MLOps to deliver production‑ready AI solutions, including evaluation, monitoring, model lifecycle management, and operational readiness.

  • Influence and align cross‑functional and senior stakeholders, clearly communicating tradeoffs, risks, and decisions to drive execution.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering, life sciences) or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex data‑ or AI‑enabled products from discovery through scaled production.

  • Strong product judgment and craftsmanship, including problem framing, prioritization, metrics definition, and clear communication of strategy and decisions.

  • Experience building platform or capability‑based products (e.g., shared services, APIs, reusable components) used by multiple teams or business units.

  • Working knowledge of applied AI product patterns, including model integration, orchestration, retrieval/grounding, evaluation, and safety considerations.
