Position Description
Staff Product engineer for SiC CJFET Division for New Product Development
Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead High Power SiC JFET New Product Development and Package Development (NPD) projects
- Facilitate and coordinate design, process, assembly, test and releasing of the product to market
- Work closely with design, test, device engineers in varied locations in a team environment
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders for effective problem solving and completion of product development in a timely manner
- Provide and coordinate technical support for the product line
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams, establish relationships with key contacts in wafer fabs and assembly site for effective project coordination and execution.
- Generate and maintain project documents such as product data sheets, test specifications, Engineering build requests, reliability test allocation, test related reports, project documents and support for other manufacturing related documentations.
- Agile management for Project documentation
- Project Management of time and cost sensitive projects as well as special projects
- Collaboration and coordination of global functional teams
- Prepare and present status updates, gate reviews of critical projects to the Project Review Board
Position Requirements
- Bachelor/Masters Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering, at least 6 years of device/product or test engineering experience in a semiconductor environment.
- At least 3 years of semiconductor New Product Development (NPD) procedure and execution management experience
- Project or Program Management experience of at least 3 years, PMP certification is an advantage.
- Experience in semiconductor processes (silicon fabrication/probe testing/assembly/final testing)
- Familiar with power devices operations and applications
- Strong skills for interpersonal relations, negotiation, including collaboration and coordination with global cross functional teams
- Proven track record of effective team leadership, problem solving and good engineering judgment
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Strong knowledge of statistical data analysis and problem-solving tools
- Ability to multitask & self-driven to produce results in a timely fashion with strong sense of urgency
