ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking an innovative, passionate, and forward-thinking individual to join us as a Senior Platform Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team with the urgency of a startup and expertise of an established organization. Due to the space we innovate in, your products will process billions of transactions per day in real-time and power both startup and established industry participants.
What you will do:

• Creatively solve complex technical challenges with innovative solutions
• Design and engineer scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based platforms
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and features
• Develop high-quality code and implement best practices in software engineering
• Foster a culture of growth and learning by leading technical discussions, experimenting with new technologies, and mentoring junior engineers

What you need to succeed:

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, or relevant experience
• At least 7-10 years of experience, including a focus on engineering and architecture work
• Demonstrable in-depth understanding of: Infrastructure architecture and design patterns, including core concepts such as compute, data, networking, and security, Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Containerized Workloads and Kubernetes
• Infrastructure-as-code Concepts, Best Practices, and Tooling
• CI/CD Pipeline Concepts and Tooling
• A general understanding of: Data platforms such as Postgres, Redis, or BigQuery
• Infrastructure and application security
• Commitment to code quality, peer reviews and strong engineering practices
• Ability to learn new and unfamiliar technologies quickly, as required
• Experience and/or passion with Financial Markets, Execution Platforms, Foreign Exchange, Cryptocurrency, or Digital Assets
• Proficiency in communication and project management at all levels

What you need to excel:

• Willingness to learn and drive innovation across a wide range of technologies
• Google Professional Cloud Engineer Certification, or equivalent in AWS or Azure
• Expertise in GCP Services, including but not limited to: Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) including Anthos Service Mesh, Google Networking including Shared VPC, Interconnects, Load Balancing, DNS, Google Cloud Storage, Google Data Products including AlloyDB, BigQuery, CloudSQL, Memstore Redis, and Data Fusion
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Istio
• Expertise in Security Concepts including: Identity and Access Management, Key Management, Firewalls, Network Policies

Salary Range
$141,000-$176,250
The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
