The Senior SOC Analyst monitors and investigates security incidents, manages vulnerabilities, analyzes security data, and leads investigations to improve security posture.

The role requires strong skills in cloud platforms, APIs, databases, networking, operating systems, scripting, troubleshooting, and customer communication, with participation in an on-call rotation.

Supports daily mutual fund custody and clearing operations by processing purchases, redemptions, exchanges, and transfers; reconciling accounts; resolving discrepancies; responding to client and correspondent inquiries; completing supervisory reviews; and maintaining regulatory compliance and reporting. The role coordinates with fund companies, transfer agents, clients, and internal teams while assisting with training and policy implementation.

Analyze client tax and cost basis onboarding requirements, assess data quality, design workflows, improve processes, and lead automation initiatives. Serve as a liaison among clients, operations, technology, and product teams. Leads Apex Fintech Solutions’ Operations division, overseeing custody and clearing functions including settlements, corporate actions, banking, regulatory reporting, and investor communications. Defines operational strategy, drives AI and automation adoption, improves efficiency, manages budgets and performance metrics, develops senior leaders, and ensures regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across a large, complex organization.

Own the product strategy and roadmap for Apex’s API gateway and observability platforms. Define capabilities such as traffic management, rate limiting, logging, metrics, traces, alerting, dashboards, and reporting. Partner with engineering teams to prioritize work, manage technical and commercial tradeoffs, define measurable outcomes, write requirements and strategy documents, maintain the Jira backlog, and communicate progress to technical and executive stakeholders.

Manage client connectivity onboarding, FIX certification, routing integrations, testing, and production deployments for trading solutions. Resolve complex connectivity issues, maintain technical specifications and databases, coordinate vendor and internal relationships, and lead multi-stakeholder implementation initiatives. Apply knowledge of FIX protocol, execution methods, market microstructure, regulatory requirements, AI tools, and data analysis to improve trading operations and client outcomes.

Perform entity-level month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes; prepare reconciliations, accruals, variance analyses, and financial reports. Execute standardized accounting processes across legal entities, support audits and regulatory reporting, improve workflows and controls, and leverage AI for automation. Train team members, review internal controls, provide operational support, and collaborate with Treasury, Operations, Technology, Accounts Payable, FP&A, and Legal.

Maintain and improve technical documentation workflows by analyzing product changes, coordinating releases, managing documentation tickets, and validating update requests. Build dashboards and reports using client usage data, support cross-functional planning, and evaluate AI tools, platforms, and automations. Partner with engineers, product managers, subject matter experts, and client-facing teams to improve documentation quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.

Analyzes Tax & Cost Basis data processes, trends, and quality; develops reports and actionable recommendations; tests software and data workflows; documents procedures; collaborates with Product, Operations, and Development; and helps automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.

Develop and maintain client-facing API documentation, programming guides, tutorials, knowledge-base content, and developer resources. Partner with engineers, product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into clear content. Own the Investor Communications and documents product within the Ascend Platform, including statements, trade confirmations, tax documents, and shareholder materials. Manage requirements, backlog prioritization, delivery, success metrics, incident resolution, and client migrations. Use Claude and other AI-assisted tools for requirements synthesis, prototyping, MVP development, and operational automation. Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, vendors, clients, and other product teams while analyzing delivery data with SQL.
