As a Staff Platform Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and evolving data platforms that support some of the bank's most critical capabilities, including analytics, fraud detection, customer insights and regulatory reporting.
Working within the Data Hosting Platform Engineering team, you'll combine deep technical expertise with engineering leadership to drive platform modernisation, improve reliability and help shape the future of enterprise data capabilities.
You will:
Design and deliver enterprise-grade data platform solutions
Build and optimise high-volume batch and streaming data pipelines
Develop cloud-native solutions using Snowflake, AWS and modern engineering practices
Drive automation, reliability and operational excellence
Improve engineering standards and reusable platform capabilities
Support secure data integration and API-based services
Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams
Champion continuous improvement and engineering excellence
