We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Cycle Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, testing, and automation, with a passion for DevOps and a systematic approach to solving complex problems. This role requires excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, experience in leading teams, and a deep understanding of the infrastructure that runs .NET applications
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead complex incident, and major incident management activities for services affected by SAP.
- Champion operational excellence through automation, standardisation, and simplification of support processes.
- Communicate complex technical and functional issues and challenges, while managing risk during complex service restoration. Communicating the right level of risk/benefit/payoff will be vital in this role.
- Drive and deliver continuous improvement initiatives that increase functional observability and SRE principles such as automating reliability and alerting, rapid recovery, engineer permanent, automated preventative solutions and improved service reliability measured through SLA, SLO and MTTR.
- Increase and advocate DevSecOps principles by providing mechanisms that decouple application and platform artefacts for better self-service.
- Reduce manual touch points and repeated activities by designing tools and processes that either eliminate or reduce steps required by stakeholders.
- Builds high-performing operational practices and technical capability through maintenance of runbooks, business continuity and recovery plans.
- Maximise AI capabilities that augment supplementing of incident analysis and automated resolutions.
Essential Skills:
- 12+ years of experience working with SAP Banking Services or TRBK with broad expertise in at least three modules between Payments, Deposits, Business Partner, Loans, Master Contract Management including knowledge of batch jobs and process dependencies.
- Proven track record of delivering complex solutions or handling major incidents in large organisations.
- Solid understanding of incident and change management process in a large organisation or highly regulated industries such as banking, financial services, insurance or government.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
- Some ability to navigate ABAP and debug programs will be seen as highly desirable.
- Demonstrated application of AI tools to automate or reduce manual touch points will be seen as highly desirable.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
