QualificationsJOB SUMMARY
The Staff Pharmacist will work under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy to provide pharmaceutical services to Union Community Care patients.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
- Fill orders with accuracy
- Check technician-prepared products before release
- Maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances
- Enter orders and patient information with accuracy
- Aid in the training of new staff
- Update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy
- Aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Pennsylvania
- CPR Certification
- Experience with 340B pharmacy prescriptions strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- English proficiency required

In order to fulfill the requirements of this position, duties 1-8 are considered essential functions of the job.

This position is required to participate in mandatory all staff meetings, team meetings and trainings.
