This is a hybrid role working from our Menlo Park, CA office Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper/Aruba switches, and Meraki/Cisco WiFi.
• Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Work with VMware, Nutanix, and enterprise storage solutions to support network and system integrations.
• Implement and maintain open-source networking and security tools.
• Collect, analyze, and process network and firewall logs to improve security monitoring and incident response.
• Deploy and manage network and cloud monitoring tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch.
• Develop automation solutions for network and security configurations using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Contribute to AI/ML-driven network optimization using Python and Go.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and data engineering teams to improve network performance and reliability.
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in enterprise networking and security.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper and Aruba switches, Meraki and Cisco WiFi.
• Experience with VMware, Nutanix, and enterprise storage solutions.
• Proficiency in open-source networking and security tools.
• Experience working with network logs, firewall logs, and monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus, Elasticsearch).
• Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Terraform, and Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker compose, Jira, Scrum, GitHub, GitLab
• Experience with AI/ML, Python, ETL/ELT, Airflow, Airbyte and Go in a networking or security context.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience with SIEM, threat detection, and incident response highly preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud-native networking and security architectures highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The expected full time annual base pay for this position is $105k-131k. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience and location.

Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
