Staff / Lead Engineer – SRE (Linux & SRE Experience)
As a Staff Software Engineer in Black Duck SRE team, you will play a key role in transforming our R&D products through the adoption of advanced cloud, Containerisation, Microservices, modern software delivery and other cutting edge technologies. You will be a key member of the team, working independently to develop tools and scripts, automated provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.
Experience : 6 – 9 Years
Job location : Black Duck (Prestige Blue Chip, Near Dairy Circle, Opp to Christ University)
Work Mode : Hybrid (3 days WFO)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong Linux Administration knowledge
- Experience with Ansible for configuration management
- Familiarity with Packer for image creation
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Proficiency in Bash Scripting
Preferred Skill
- Hands-on experience with EXI (Hypervisor)
- Strong understanding of Networking concepts
- Proven ability in OS-Level Troubleshooting
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Kubernetes (K8s)
- Basic Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reliability.
- Create and manage alerts, ensuring smooth handoff and response processes with ProdOps.
- Troubleshoot and resolve OS-level and network-related issues.
- Contribute to cloud migration and container orchestration initiatives.
