We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile Full Stack Staff Engineer with strong frontend capabilities to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading our Web Experience team, working primarily with TypeScript and React.


As a Staff Full-Stack Engineer, you will take a leadership role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services across our TypeScript and React stack, helping set direction and best practice across Kpler. Vue.js experience is considered a valuable asset as we work with various frontend technologies, but you will be capable of quickly learning this if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of web applications using TypeScript and React.
  • Be willing to work with Vue.js web applications where required.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering their growth and expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and project requirements.
  • Act as a technical expert, setting and enforcing best practices in software development.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance our development stack.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design to deployment and maintenance, tackling complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Substantial professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on TypeScript and React development.
  • Familiarity with other frontend technologies, including Vue.js, is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with creating and implementing Micro-frontend applications, and of implementing web applications using the Backend for Frontend pattern.
  • Experience with full stack technologies and languages, such as Node.js and GraphQL
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Outstanding leadership and mentorship abilities.
