The Role
As a Staff FrontEnd Engineer at Constantinople, you will be a key technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex UI-focused solutions at the core of our banking platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect and build software that sets new industry standards for reliability, scalability, and security.
As a member of the UX Squad, you will work closely with other Front-End developers. Your role will focus on being a Technical Leader for the most complex projects and problems we plan to solve. The team is responsible for the Web and Mobile App codebases built with React and React Native. We maintain and extend the Design System built to support the White-Label products.
What You’ll Do
- Architect, plan and lead the development of scalable software solutions
- Be responsible for cross-squad initiatives to help scale Constantinople platform
- Develop and drive architectural changes across projects while leading engineers
- Set the standard for security across the engineering team
- Provide decisions on service performance and design implementation
- Provide coaching and QA to the engineering teams
- Share your experience and knowledge to mentor and grow more junior developers
- Keep learning and having fun!
Who are we looking for?
- 8+ years of experience specialising in Front-End
- You are a T-shaped Developer with skills and depth across both Front-End and Backend
- You are proficient in TypeScript
- Experienced React and Next.js developer
- Experience with building and managing large-scale features and applications across multiple teams
- Writes clean, maintainable code and ensure code reviews and best practices are followed
- Effectively handle complex problems and able to self-drive the project from the ideation face to the outcome
- Have experience with mentoring and growing engineers
- Strong teamwork skills that foster productive collaboration, adding to the company culture
Nice to have
- Worked with Expo or React Native
- Worked with Universal Applications codebase (React + React Native)
- Build the User Interfaces and code logic for multi-tenancy applications
- Experienced with AWS or another Cloud provider
