Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Finance Systems Analyst to support daily Finance systems operations and projects. This role will involve coordinating and implementing the design and development of our organization’s global Finance application ecosystem. The Systems Analyst will work closely with Finance Business Process Owners to prioritize defect resolutions and enhancement requests, gather business requirements, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. The Analyst will focus on supporting our Finance and Accounting application (Workday Financials), with additional application responsibilities expected to grow over time.
Reports To: Sr. Director of Finance Systems and Accounting Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize day-to-day incident resolutions, defect fixes, and enhancement requests from business users.
- Analyze and evaluate existing business and systems processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements and maintain effective internal controls within Finance systems.
- Stay informed about Workday release updates and their implications for our systems.
- Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements for new or improved systems.
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, HRIT, and IT teams to develop a cross-functional roadmap for new features or system modifications.
- Provide regular updates to all stakeholders on project progress and system changes.
- Oversee Workday security configurations and access controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience implementing and managing Workday Finance module capabilities
- Experience with one or more Workday financial modules, including Core Financials, Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Customer Accounts, or Revenue.
- Proficiency in Workday business process design and report configuration.
- Firsthand experience in creating EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) and customizing EIB templates.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday security functionality and configuration.
- Strong understanding of SOX compliance, effective internal controls, and Workday security configurations.
- A positive customer service mindset with effective communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation of Finance system processes for reference and training purposes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of post-production support experience.
- Participation in at least one Workday Financials implementation project.
- Exposure to Workday Prism and Accounting Center.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed.
