The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?You will be creating User Interfaces so customers can build their own on premise cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with peers in the team and cross functional organizations to understand requirements and implement the solutions.
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work towards completing?You will become an integral part of the team:
Within the first month of employment, you will become familiar with the product features, architecture, and how we build our solutions. You will ramp quickly to be able to contribute to the code base.
Within 90 days (about 3 months) of employment, you will start working on a feature of the product.
Within 180 days (about 6 months), you will be experienced in the project and be able to support our existing customers, work on new features and be able to propose improvements to the product features.
Within the first year of employment, you will have shipped code that customers are using.
Be part of an Agile scrum team and participate in daily meetings, code or architectural reviews.
Design and develop new functionalities for the product, using technology stacks based on Angular, Clarity, associated libraries, and Nx.
Work with senior members of the team to deliver new capabilities to customers.
Engage with an enterprise SDLC process and maintain quality and security standards in order to ship with the VCF platform.
You will be joining the VCF Workload UI team, responsible for delivering easy to use interfaces for customers to achieve their workflows seamlessly. You will collaborate primarily with engineers located in Palo Alto, but will also interact with global team members in the broader UI team, Backend / API development teams, Product Management, User Experience, and the Global Support organization.
Job RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field plus 8 years industry experience OR Master’s Degree plus 6 years
Experience developing User Interfaces with at least one JavaScript framework, such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerisation
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and technology like nx.dev, Github Actions and Artifactory/Harbor
Experience developing and delivering software for on premise customers
Experience in effective code reviews and cross-functional team work with other engineering dependencies, OSS projects, product and release management
Understanding of enterprise SDLC processes and willingness to engage with these throughout the lifecycle of your work
Successfully participate in an in-person on-site technical interview
Must have legal authorization to work in the US.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $192,000
As a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth. All subject to relevant plan documents and award agreements.
