What you will do:
Technical Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with Divisional Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and executive stakeholders to advocate for user-centric solutions.
- Take ambiguous, high-level business problems and translate them into intuitive, structured, and scalable design solutions.
- Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, wire frames, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps.
- Develop and maintain reusable design systems and component libraries, ensuring visual and functional consistency across the entire product ecosystem and facilitating seamless design handoffs to development.
- Partner with Divisional Designer and Usability engineer to steer high-level user research and usability testing, leveraging both qualitative feedback and quantitative product analytics to measure the impact of design decisions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level designers, review their work to maintain high-quality standards, and champion a strong UX culture within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor or Master’s degree in communication design / Interaction design or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in communication design / Interaction design or equivalent.
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Ability to solve complex design problems and create user-friendly interfaces.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your visual design problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in Medical Device front-end development is a plus.
