Job Duties and Responsibilities
Staff Engineer - Software sought by DISH Network L.L.C. in Englewood, CO.
Oversee and improve CI/CD tools and processes for various business units. Automate
software development, release, operations, and maintenance stages. Engage with cross functional teams to brainstorm and implement innovative solutions. Research and leverage
open-source technologies to address automation challenges. Provide technical guidance and
training to development teams on CI/CD, automation tools, and processes. Maintain and
enhance existing tools, platforms, and processes.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field plus 6 years of IT experience. Also requires 6 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins
- Helm and Bash scripting
- Python, Spring, Java, GOlang, and PHP
- Infrastructure as code solutions, such as Terraform or Cloudformation
- Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- DevOps culture
3 years of experience in the following:
- Gitlab
- Linux Operating System
- Container Scheduling technologies.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $145,230.00/Year
