Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and apply test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to boost software quality and efficiency.
- Build, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Embrace and champion development methodologies that prioritize software quality through rigorous testing practices.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct API, UI, mobile, and database testing to ensure end-to-end quality.
- Establish test metrics and benchmarks to measure software quality and process efficiency.
- Guide and mentor test engineers on automation guidelines and advanced testing techniques.
- Assess and deploy new testing technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security testing strategies align with business needs.
- Review and provide recommendations for improving test case coverage and defect prevention.
- Contribute to shift-left testing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years in software testing with at least 3+ years in a QA architect role.
- Strong experience in test automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
- Expertise in scripting/programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Deep understanding of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner).
- Experience with mobile testing using Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
- Experience with cloud-based and containerized environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in database testing using SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and shift-left testing methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML-based testing methods.
- Familiarity with security testing tools and standard methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
