• Development of proof-of-concept demos, system prototypes, and software tools (e.g., GUIs) to enable evaluation and integration of healthcare products in customers’ systems
• Collaboration with Marketing/Sales/Field Applications teams and other cross-functional teams to provide technical support to worldwide customers
• Writing technical articles on applications of healthcare products
• Defining breakthrough healthcare solutions that solve customers' toughest challenges
Key Qualifications
• Electronics and systems design background
• System-level hardware and software development experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to articulate system requirements as part of a broader strategy
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills, able to work and effectively collaborate within cross-functional and global teams
Education and Experience:
• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience (or 6+ with a Masters or equivalent)
• Ability and willingness to mentor and teach junior engineers
• Demonstrated ability to estimate timelines and perform to resulting schedule
Additional Requirements for Software-focused Roles:
• Demonstrated software debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrated embedded C design skills and experience
• Knowledge of Python test frameworks
• Understanding of microprocessor architectures (ARM-based preferred)
• FPGA reference design experience is a plus
