Principal Site Reliability Engineer
What You Will Be DoingAs a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will be a strategic technical leader, defining DevOps vision across the organization. You’ll own complex system designs, influence cross-functional teams, and set standards for automation, reliability, and scalability at enterprise scale.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint- Define and drive DevOps strategy across multiple teams and projects
- Lead design of large-scale, highly available infrastructure systems
- Champion best practices in CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native architecture
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to align DevOps with product goals
- Evaluate and introduce new tools/technologies to improve efficiency
- Act as a subject matter expert in cloud, automation, and reliability engineering
- Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Drive incident response and postmortem processes at organizational level
- 8–12+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with leadership exposure
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems
- Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, service mesh, and microservices deployment
- Strong background in automation, observability, and performance tuning
- Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
