Candidates will work with a modern tech stack on a Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud platform that serves users in over 49 countries. The core platform consists of systems housed in a large-scale environment responsible for processing billions of tasks every day. The candidate should have strong leadership ability and bring a passion for software engineering to help shape the direction of the team. Highly sought-after qualities include strong communication skills, versatility, and a desire to continuously learn, improve, and empower other team members. What You'll Do

· Architecting and supporting high-performance, highly scalable and flexible, cost-effective, cloud-based data platform.

· Design and plan future architecture to store and manage rapid data growth.

· Architect, design and implement the cybersecurity of the data platform.

· Identify and solve design and technology issues within the current systems.

· Collaborate with internal and external partners to design, develop and integrate with multiple internal and external products and platforms.

· Create software architecture and design documentation for the supported solutions and overall best practices and patterns

· Stay current with emerging trends, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate 

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, other relevant field or equivalent experience 

· Proven experience with data architecture and design in the cloud.

· Familiar with architectures principles, patterns, framework and blueprints

· Familiar with Cybersecurity best practices and solutions for supported architecture.

· Experience with documenting architectural and deign decisions.

· Experience with working and supporting with multiple development team members.

· Ability to work well with a team in a high-performance organization 

· Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team 

· Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills 

· Eagerness to contribute beyond experience level

The base pay for this position is

$95,000.00 – $190,000.00
