Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
The Global Incident Response (GIR) team consists of five units: Triage, Investigations, Incident Command, Threat Hunting and Insider Threat. You will be joining the Threat Hunting & Insider Threat program. As a Staff Business Systems Analyst, you will own a significant stake in ServiceNow's hunting strategy and risk reduction for insider threats and will be helping to mature the global programs.
- Implement, and manage the Insider Threat and Threat Hunting programs in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Establish program governance, policies, and operational processes to enhance visibility into insider risks and external threats.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating meetings, managing expectations, and addressing concerns proactively.
- Manage key metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance threat detection and mitigation capabilities.
- Report regularly on the program status to senior management and executive stakeholders.
- Serve as a key driver to tangibly and meaningfully improve the security of the ServiceNow platform, our infrastructure, and the many ways our customers use the platform.
- Drive awareness and training initiatives to foster a strong security culture within the organization.
- Establish and mature documentation, protocols, and procedures governing Insider Threat & Threat Hunting.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business priorities, timelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst or similar role.
- High motivation to own and drive change.
- Excellent demonstrable oral and written communication skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining business process documentation.
- Experience maintaining and improving large complex datasets with meticulous detail.
- Experience communicating with an executive audience.
- Experience in incident response at a global company.
- Familiarity with the security incident response lifecycle.
- Good to have an experience in application security domain, particularly hyper-scale hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
- Working understanding of the Agile framework.
- Knowledge across multiple security domains (e.g., security engineering, security architecture, security governance).
