Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations, and privileges of the organization.
- Provide legal advice, drafting, strategy and negotiations on multiple forms of contracts.
- Represent the organization to customers, suppliers, competitors and government agencies.
- Provide legal advice on compliance with existing contracts and programs, including government contracts, utility/energy/real estate and other organizational programs.
- Provide resolution of business or technical issues by identifying legal solutions and recommending a course of action.
- Examine legal data for strategy on lawsuits

- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Bar Admission in the US, preferably New York.
- Experience - Minimum 4 years in field.
- Skills: Contract drafting, negotiation, strong planning & organizational skills, strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex matters for a broad business audience, risk management/evaluation, fluency in Microsoft O365
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate solutions on complex issues and execute programs that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity, build teams across multiple functions to close deals for senior management.
- Travel – Generally minimum travel
- Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to review and complete complex transactions efficiently, balancing and managing business expectations with legal and regulatory compliance objectives and risk mitigation.
- Extensive experience in providing legal advice to business clients.
- Highly skilled and proven negotiator; detail oriented.
Expected Salary Range
$107,000.00 - $178,000.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
