Summary:
In this role, you will support the data collection module processes for Vizient’s ODB (Operational Database) tool. You will lead, guide and support member efforts to be successful in implementing hospital data into the ODB tool and facilitate training for hospital program coordinators around ODB tool requirements.
Responsibilities:

Perform data collection, interpretation, and analysis for productivity benchmarking initiatives.

Communicate recommended ODB tool requirements and solutions appropriately and effectively with Vizient stakeholders and hospital members.

Manage member specific data collection module project tasks across a variety of standard and add-on tool offerings.

Support ODB tool through guiding member efforts to submit data timely and accurately.

Ensure data quality by driving accountability around data submitted into tool and communicating expectations effectively to member participants.

Drive data quality initiatives by accurately and appropriately following and interpreting Data Reference Manual (DRM) guidelines.

Train member Program Coordinators on requirements for success in Data Collection Module tasks.

Facilitate member calls, tracking project timelines, communicating effectively to avoid project delays, and facilitating tool requirements for success.

Work with datasets in various data tools such as Excel, Access and Power Point.
Qualifications:
-
Relevant degree preferred.
-
2 or more years of experience in health care, finance, or health care consulting focused on data analysis required.

Knowledge of health care terminology, charge master/billing practices, and hospital operations needed.

Experience with ODB Data Collection Module strongly preferred.

Prior experience with labor productivity measuring and reporting in health care preferred.

Analytical ability to gather, organize and interpret data, to identify discrepancies, problems or issues, to obtain advice when precedents are unclear or unavailable.

Knowledge of principles such as workflow analysis, statistical analysis, work simplification, time standard and staffing analysis, and process improvement techniques as they apply to health care management system processes and operations.

Advanced use of a Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, advanced logic (nesting “if” statements, etc.) Access and Power Point.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $109,700.00.
