We are seeking a Staff Accountant with a focus on Accounts Payable to join our finance team in an in-office capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, collaborate closely with colleagues, and expand your accounting expertise within a dynamic and supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently on a daily and weekly basis
- Review invoices and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and proper approval
- Maintain vendor records and enter invoice data into the accounting system with precision
- Assist with vendor payment processing while ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
- Collaborate with finance team members and support additional accounting functions as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Basic understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with U.S. GAAP is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to support internal stakeholders
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
