ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Contributing to the daily operations of the accounting department which includes, but is not limited to, month-end close, cash management, reconciliations, cost accounting, consolidation, tax, and audit.
- Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close and consolidation of income statement and balance sheet, including account reconciliations and general ledger analysis
- Assist in Finance and IT department initiatives, such as software and systems upgrades and implementation to improve operational data and insight
- Ensuring entries are recorded accurately in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Additional duties as necessary

The ideal candidate has the following background and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Strong communication skills required
- Microsoft Excel Intermediate skills or better

Travel Requirements
- Periodic business travel will occur (estimated at approximately 5% percent), though frequency of travel could fluctuate from period to period based on growth and acquisition initiatives
Work Environment
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may also be in a manufacturing plant environment in which Personal Protective Equipment must be worn. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
