Position Details: 

ONSITE NOT A REMOTE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment while helping drive the company’s financial integrity and growth.

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitors  all bank accounts for cash flow requirements.
  • Assists community Business Office Managers with Payroll, Accounts Payable, and  Cash Flow requirement related matters.
  • Coordinates  all significant aspects of the month-end close for all companies within  the organization.
  • Compiles financial reports for internal and external reporting.
  • Assists  with maintenance of capital purchases and depreciation schedules.
  • Analyzes  and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements by reviewing actual to budget.
  • Manages  internal auditing procedures for selected accounts and transactions.
  • Follows and reviews internal procedures and controls.
  • Performs financial and profitability analysis as needed.
  • Collects  information for financial statement audits and oversees a compilation of financial material requirements with Business Office Managers.
  • Reviews, refines and implements accounting controls for all companies.
  • Assists with the preparation of Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports.
  • Additional duties as needed or assigned. 

Wage Range: $55k-$65K D.O.E. / Application Deadline: 6/1/2026

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software Sage and Excel
