Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant – Treasury and Payroll is instrumental in providing a variety of critical accounting and financial reporting functions including all month end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, audit processes while ensuring efficient and timely operations. Responsible for maintaining financial controls and confirming financial compliance through analysis and preparation of company’s reports and statements.
Staff Accountants are responsible for ensuring accounting processes and guidelines are appropriately achieved by performing the following duties:
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare month end close journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage automated weekly bank reconciliations and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and record monthly payroll, benefits, treasury, and debt activity to the general ledger
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecast
- Manage integration process between Sage Intacct and ADP as well as Sage Intacct and Well Fargo
- Assist with driving processes improvements
- Prepare appropriate audit support for transactions and assist with external audit preparation
- Support corporate Accounting and Finance team with ad-hoc analysis or projects
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers in person, on the phone, or when answering or referring any inquires.
- Participates in staff meetings and workgroups by providing constructive input for process improvements and solutions
- Other duties as assigned

Performance Requirements, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Advanced Excel skills, such as pivots, lookups, and formula driven spreadsheets
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills to enhance team collaboration
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented and proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, following through to completion
- Demonstrates cultural competency, sensitivity and responsiveness to various cultural characteristics and beliefs
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- At least two (2) years of experience in accounting preferred
- Sage Intacct experience preferred
- Experience with fast-growing multi-site organization, preferably Healthcare related
- US GAAP experience, preferred
- Financial reporting experience preferred
- CPA eligible highly preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Administrative office may have minimum visits to medical offices with possible exposure to procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
