A growing professional services firm is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and client service while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Staff Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, financial analysis, and reporting activities while developing strong technical accounting skills and professional experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation and maintenance of financial records and general ledger entries
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records
Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
Collaborate with team members on accounting projects and process improvements
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
0–2 years of accounting experience (internships encouraged)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
