What you will do at VeSync:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement changes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Tax support - Sales tax, GST and filling 1099
What you bring to the role:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or working towards CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience
- Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP), proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite), strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
