We are looking for a strong communicator who is interested in deepening their accounting expertise. The ideal candidate should possess a learning and growth mindset that drives them to challenge the status quo and improve processes. In this role, you will:
  • Prepare accounting entries and account reconciliations in accordance with the financial close process including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.

  • Assist in the following:

    • Research and propose resolutions for discrepancies or identified issues, questions or new situations.

    • Develop, maintain and document all policies and procedures related to assigned areas of responsibility.

    • Prepare summaries and commentary on changes and fluctuations for senior management reviews.

  • Collaboratively support the Team and Management in various accounting projects, global process alignment and improvement initiatives.

  • Work cross-functionally with and support our business partners by providing financial insights and relevant reporting.

  • Identify areas for operational improvement, provide recommendations and implement the changes.

Please apply if you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).

  • 2-3 years of applicable professional experience in industry and/or public accounting.

  • Experience with preparing accounting reconciliations and journal entries.

  • Ability to analyze and effectively comment on accounting flux (variance) analysis, demonstrating strong written communication skills.

  • Refined Microsoft Excel skills (xlookup, pivot tables, etc.).

  • You are curious to learn more about and assist in technical accounting research.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Successfully partner with cross-functional teams, utilizing strong verbal communication to achieve shared goals.

  • High work standards and strong work ethics.

  • Process-oriented with high attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through.

  • Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite and FloQast is a plus.

Benefits and Perks:
  • Generous paid vacation + time off for your birthday

  • Work from (almost) anywhere for up to 20 days per year
