About the Role

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance. You will be responsible for supporting month-end close activities, preparing journal entries, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Assist with the month-end accounting close to ensure deadlines are met and all transactions are recorded accurately
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis of costs and provide insights to management
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather information needed for month-end financial closing activities
  • Lead collaboration efforts with external auditors during audit requests and ensure compliance with standards
  • Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
  • CPA license required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and audit practices
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
Work Arrangement

  • Schedule: Flexible, with shifting schedules during close and audit periods.
