Cash Connect is one of the top Vault Cash providers in the country, servicing more than 35,000 ATMs and Smart Safes in all 50 states. Cash Connect has strategic partnerships with some of the most highly recognized armored carrier and transaction networks across the nation. The Staff Accountant will reconcile general ledger accounts that pertain to Cash Connect which include but not limited to balancing the accounts, identifying and resolving differences, and researching aging items. The incumbent will also prepare various reports for management, and generate, monitor, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with performing financial accounting and reporting activities
- Prepare assigned reconciliations that substantiate and document activity within general ledger accounts while performing research, resolving exceptions and aged items, and posting ledger entries as needed
- Collaborate with various internal departments to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Actively support projects, IT enhancements, and strategic initiatives for the Division as a representative of the accounting team
- Support the month-end accounting close process and accounting & analysis activities
- Other projects as directed and assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Must have knowledge and experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliation systems.
- Must have the ability to handle simultaneous projects and meet established deadlines.
- Must have strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently to solve problems as well as work as a part of team on special projects and assignments.
Salary Range:
$44,146.00 - $72,525.25Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
