As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial information and reports while adhering to deadlines. You will collaborate with other team members and leadership on various accounting projects.

Responsibilities:- Prepare reports and analysis to enable informed decision-making by internal parties as well as to comply with requests by external parties
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Assist with the annual audit
- Maintain strict confidentially with the handling of financial data, client/vendor records, and/or proprietary information
- Complete daily activities with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Preferred 1-2 years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially strong Excel skills) and other relevant software applications
- Strong analytical skills to help develop potential solutions for complex issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
- Receptiveness to performance feedback within a team environment is essential
- Candidate must reside or relocate to Houston, TX
