About the Role
We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This role is a key contributor to our core accounting operations and will support accounts payable, procurement, and general ledger accounting. You’ll gain exposure to the month-end close, audit processes, and cross-functional business operations in a dynamic SaaS environment.
You’ll work in a tech-forward, collaborative setting using NetSuite, Gappify, Coupa, and Brex, helping us drive automation and scalable finance operations.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the accuracy of the cash balances by reconciling bank account balances to the bank statements.
- Support the full cycle procurement/accounts payable process, including vendor disbursements and 1099 compliance
- Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis, and other monthly deliverables
- Assist with annual audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to operationalize new areas of the business to facilitate streamlined accounting transactions as assigned
- Support ad hoc financial information requests and analyses and other special projects
- Adhere to deadlines and prioritizing tasks to meet the demands of a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within corporate accounting (SaaS industry preferred)
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Coupa, Gappify, and Brex
- International accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established financial and clerical processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes
- Bright, coachable self-starter with natural curiosity and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
