Own end-to-end technical content for Planful’s AI-first platform, including in-product guidance, onboarding flows, release notes, help documentation, and content standards. Partner with product, UX, and engineering teams to explain AI behavior accurately and clearly. Use Claude and other AI tools to scale content production while maintaining editorial quality. Develop reusable content patterns, audit documentation against product changes, and help customers understand and trust AI-driven workflows.

Manage highly available SaaS and cloud applications across geographically distributed data centers. Monitor availability, scalability, and uptime; support Windows and Linux systems; perform release deployments; troubleshoot network and connectivity issues; manage incidents and service requests; coordinate incident calls; and follow ITIL service management processes in a 24x7 rotating shift environment.

Create and maintain customer-facing learning content, including course guides, slide decks, quizzes, certification assessments, and hands-on labs. Translate complex Planful product workflows and releases into clear educational materials, collaborate with subject matter experts and product managers, support NASBA CPE-accredited courses, and use AI tools to accelerate course development. The role may also involve delivering webinars and office hours.

Generate qualified sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, phone conversations, and opportunity qualification. Identify finance users’ pain points, connect customer needs to Planful’s SaaS solutions, collaborate with Account Executives, achieve quarterly quotas, document call notes, and maintain customer records in Salesforce. The role is hybrid in Austin and requires strong communication, organization, initiative, and an interest in technology sales.

Own product marketing across Planful’s platform, AI, and Consolidation Premium offerings. Responsibilities include coordinating product launches, building field and partner enablement, managing analyst relations and evaluation submissions, running competitive intelligence, supporting pricing execution, and partnering with product, engineering, sales, and solutions consulting on messaging, positioning, and launch narratives.

Own the systems, data, account targeting, reporting, capacity modeling, SLA tracking, and technology support powering a B2B SaaS SDR team. Evaluate prospecting programs, build funnel reporting, manage Salesforce and sales engagement workflows, create UserGems campaigns, resolve tooling issues, identify data gaps, and partner with Business Operations to automate processes and improve pipeline generation.

Own Planful’s B2B content marketing strategy, messaging architecture, editorial governance, and full-funnel content production across blogs, web pages, ebooks, whitepapers, social, and customer stories. Partner with marketing, sales, product, creative teams, SMEs, and agencies to align content with segment and account strategies. Manage SEO, GEO, and AIO initiatives, content audits, performance analysis, refresh cycles, and strategic reporting.

Owns demand generation campaigns across email, webinars, full-funnel nurture, events, direct mail, gifting, and third-party lead generation. Manages campaign calendars, vendors, assets, targeting, reporting, stakeholder communication, and performance optimization. Uses testing and AI tools to improve execution and results, with a focus on pipeline contribution, ROI, and sales-ready leads.

The Implementation Consultant will onboard clients to the Planful platform, translating business needs into solutions and ensuring project delivery excellence.

Lead end-to-end customer rollouts of an AI-native planning platform: build and maintain data integrations, create performant financial models, develop AI-driven automated test harnesses, resolve data and performance issues, ship product fixes, and partner with finance stakeholders to operationalize solutions and feed product improvements back into engineering.

Lead architecture and implementation of a high-performance OLAP query engine and semantic layer: design a JSON-based DSL and compiler, generate optimized SQL for columnar databases, build distributed caching, tune JVM and low-level performance, and provide technical leadership and documentation.
