Staff Accountant

CallRail is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll processing
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation to internal and external auditors
• Analyze financial data and prepare regular reports for management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and controls
• Support tax preparation and compliance activities
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting department

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Progress toward CPA certification is preferred
• Experience with NetSuite and Zuora is a plus

This position is based out of our Atlanta office and will require that you come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
