Role overview
The Staff Accountant, reporting to the Senior Accountant, is responsible for building lasting relationships with Accounting, Finance, other Business Partners and Business Leaders to advise and solve challenging, real-time problems.
A day in the life…

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy in accordance with GAAP and timeliness

Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions

Reconcile bank statements monthly

Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review

Collaborate with accounting team to identify and resolve discrepancies and variances in financial records

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What we are looking for…
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
-
Internship or 1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting is preferred
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
-
Experience with accounting software (NetSuite) is a plus
-
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Hiring Range
$73800-$83400
Annual
Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
