Location: Port Washington, NY
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Cover all aspects of accounting, including, but not limited to:
- Daily review of POs/SOs initiated by Operations team and generate customer & supplier invoices
- Daily review of corporate credit card expenditures & employee reimbursements using Navan expense reporting platform
- Assist Accounting manager with month end close, booking journal entries and completing reconciliations
- General Ledger analysis & ad hoc projects
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting field
- Knowledge of Microsoft systems (preferred) and Quickbooks
- Familiarity with automated T&E systems preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required, high level of proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, both written and oral
- Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere – must be a team player!
- Willingness to learn and to grow with the position
Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000
