Job Description

Senior Metal Bellows is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with 2–3 years of experience who wants to expand their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

In this role, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of accounting and finance, from month-end close and financial reporting to cost analysis, budgeting, and capital projects. You'll work closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams, providing financial insights that help drive business decisions and support continued growth.

What You'll Do

  • Provide critical support to the monthly and year-end closing processes from the posting of journals through the generation of financial statements.
  • Provide financial support across the organization including the financial analysis of sales, margin, expenditure and other key organizational metrics.
  • Prepare, analyze and report on New Product Introduction.
  • Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations on all key balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare all Capital Expenditure Requests including supporting write-ups and financial analysis.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets including capitalization, depreciation and disposition.
  • Responsible for executing on Fixed Asset inventory on a bi-annual basis.
  • Support the annual budget preparation process. 
  • Support the Controller in the development of factory cost estimates for new and existing products involving, application of specific process standards, review of historical cost information, obtaining multiple vendor quotations and application of appropriate labor and overhead rates.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll as needed.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. (Oracle a PLUS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Hourly Rate Range:  $71,000-$84,000 annually

Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
