Job Description:

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am -5 pm

Onsite/Hybrid

Reconciles detail subsidiary ledger records. Provides day-to-day operational support as needed. Processes all direct deposit requests. Assists Accounts Payable and Payroll in researching cash reconciliation items with the reconciliation team. Organizes and prepares journal entries, miscellaneous cash entries, and reclassification entries for review. Assists with closing ledgers, including preparing and posting accruals and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Research questions from management teams relating to monthly responsibility reports and makes necessary reclassification entries. Ensures that monthly regulatory, corporate, and internal deadlines are achieved in collaboration with management. Prepares, proofs, assembles, and organizes financial statements. Assists Senior Accountants with capital inventories, mid-year and year-end audits, cost reports, and corporate checklists. Supports Senior Accountants with inter-facility and department allocations, billing, and reconciling. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Excellent organizational skills. [Preferred]
  • Ability to perform complex mathematical and accounting processes. [Required]
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records [Required]
  • Using spreadsheets; analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills. [Required]
  • Good verbal and written communication skills. [Required]
  • Also requires experience with General Ledger [Required]
  • Work, generally is repetitive but new situations, requiring mature judgment arises. Good judgment is required. [Required]
  • Additional knowledge in an accounting specialization such as Healthcare preferred. [Preferred]

Education:

  • Bachelor's [Required]

Field of Study:

  • progressively responsible experience in accounting
  • in Business, Accounting or equivalent

Work Experience:

  • 3+ progressively responsible experience in accounting [Required]

Pay Range:

$42,410.00 - $78,871.00
