SUMMARY
Colliers Mortgage Holdings (including our Mortgage, Funding, and Insurance business lines) is seeking an experienced accounting professional to perform accounting and administrative tasks relating to cash processing, AP, ongoing maintaining of financial records, reports, ledgers, account reconciliations, audit support, and special projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing daily cash transaction processing draws, payment reconciliation, and loan closings, which includes wires, ACH, and book transfers
- Maintaing responsibility for Accounts Payable (AP) processing which entails setting up vendors, coding and attaining approval for invoices, and sending payments
- Ad hoc requests for history, transaction details, or information
- Preparing supporting documentation for audits
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and recommend process improvements
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, BS/BA Degree preferred
- 3+ years of accounting experience required
- Prior experience working in the finance or banking industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrable experience with Cash Management and Accounts Payable processes and procedures
- Foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel, with knowledge of basic accounting functions
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to find discrepancies in the available data
- Exemplary time management skills, including prioritization and the ability to manage multiple competing requests
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a broad range of stakeholders

- Regular and reliable attendance required, including 3 to 4 in office days per week

Area/Location Specific: Minneapolis, MN
Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $70,000 to $85,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
