What You'll Do
- At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Execute month-end and quarter-end close activities accurately and timely
- Maintain and reconcile prepaid asset schedules and related journal entries.
- Own fixed asset accounting, including recording additions, transfers, and disposals of non-solar assets.
- Review asset entries for accuracy and validate monthly depreciation expense calculations.
- Prepare and maintain inter-company accounting schedules. Prepare and maintain fixed asset roll-forward schedules by legal entity.
- Provide documentation and support for external audits and internal inquiries related to fixed assets and other key accounts.
- Assist in the development, documentation, and ongoing refinement of SOPs for owned processes.
- Conduct periodic spot audits to assess effectiveness of internal controls.
- Support the preparation of monthly internal financial reports and ad-hoc analyses as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Experience You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- CPA designation preferred, but not required.
- 2-4 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in fixed asset accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting principles, GAAP compliance, and internal control standards.
- Experience with Sage Intacct or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Google Workspace preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated adaptability, teamwork, and a proactive mindset.
