Job Summary: Responsible for general financial activities including but not limited to: accounts payable processing, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and various tasks related to the audit. Carries out special projects as assigned by the CFO or Controller.
Job Responsibilities:
a). Processes accounts payable on a daily basis.
b). Prepares standard journal entries for all entities.
c). Assists in reconciling bank accounts on a monthly basis.
d). Prepares various financial reports for the hospital.
e). Participates in monthly close process.
f). Assists with the completion of end of year tax returns and other related tax forms.
g). Assists in Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
h). Assists with the annual audit.
i). Performs related duties, assists others as needed, and performs special projects as assigned by the CFO or Controller.
QualificationsEducation Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
Certification/Licensure: N/A
Experience Requirements: 3-5 years’ previous experience in Finance/Accounting department preferred. Computer and organizational stills preferred.
