WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Fors Marsh is seeking a Staff Accountant. This individual would work in Finance and Accounting. This job is best suited for an individual with 3-5 years' experience in the Government Contracting Industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Accounts Payable:
- Processes accounts payable PO vouchers in Deltek Costpoint
- Sends accounts payable report to Director of Accounting for approval of payment
- Prepares payment for accounts payable in Deltek Costpoint
- Investigates all vendor related inquiries
- Processes Expense Reports and reconciles Company Credit Cards in Deltek Time & Expense
- Accounts Receivable:
- Records electronic deposits to client records
- Records cash receipts to client records
- Cash and Credit Card Accounts:
- Reconciles cash daily
- Maintains a cash flow reconciliation daily
- Reconciles bank accounts, credit cards and loans monthly
- Provides Director of Accounting with reconciliations for review and approval
- Reporting:
- File monthly and quarterly reports with appropriate agencies
- Enter journal entries as needed
- Maintain records and work with outside auditors
- Contract compliance
- Fixed Assets:
- Update fixed assets in asset tracker for additions and deletions
- Maintain records for fixed asset purchases and disposals
Qualifications:
- ● Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense Required
- ● 2 -4 years' experience in an accounting and Government Contracting position required
- ● Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with a concentration in accounting required
- ● Must be a motivated self-starter
- ● Self-motivated, driven positive attitude
- ● Great team player and able to work under tight timelines and pressure
- ● Unwavering attention to detail and superb organizational skills
- ● Willingness to listen and learn, with ability to multi-task

Salary:$60,000-$65,000
