Edits and quality-controls complex technical reports, research communications, presentations, manuals, web content, and other federal deliverables. Responsibilities include substantive editing, proofreading, fact and reference checking, style-guide application, accessibility review, permissions and copyright verification, formatting, version control, and final publication-readiness checks. The role coordinates with researchers, subject matter experts, project managers, legal reviewers, clients, and federal stakeholders while managing multiple review cycles and tight deadlines.

Writes, edits, and refines technical research content for technical and nontechnical audiences. Responsibilities include interviewing subject-matter experts, translating complex scientific and engineering concepts, developing reports and digital content, proofreading, fact-checking, applying federal and client style guides, ensuring Section 508 compliance, managing review workflows, and supporting fast-turnaround publication requests across infrastructure, hazards, transportation, and public-sector programs.

Lead corporate brand stewardship, internal communications, external positioning, thought leadership, PR, and conference strategy. Manage a small communications team and partner with external PR resources to shape Fors Marsh’s public presence and internal alignment.
